Troll Tram Tours (March 13 through May 18)
75-minute, narrated tours are available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, departing at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. each day (weather permitting).
Learn about the garden and the stories behind the sculptures in Thomas Dambo's TROLLS: Save the Humans in this limited-time experience! During the tram tour, guests will stop to explore the sites where four of the sculptures are located. Sculptures in front of the visitor and education center and on the festival garden patio will be highlighted through narration, and guests are welcome to visit those pieces and see them up-close before or after the tram tour.
Tickets are $8, $6 for garden members (in addition to garden admission) and may be purchased at the front desk.
Tram Tours (May through October)
50-minute, narrated tours are available for purchase for $4 for garden members and $5 for non-members (in addition to garden admission).
The tram drives past the Hitchcock-Kountze Victorian Garden, English perennial border, Garden in the Glen, Arboretum and Oberman Bird Sanctuary, model railroad garden (lower tracks are most visible), Robert H. Storz Family Rose Garden, color burst bed, horticulture complex, herb garden, and Japanese park. There are 2, 10-minute stops at the conservation discovery garden/Founders' Garden and the rose garden, where guests may deboard and explore the surrounding areas.
Private Golf Cart Tours - available by advance reservation Enjoy everything that the garden has to offer during a private golf cart tour with a senior staff member. You're sure to love this unique experience (for up to 3 people), full of facts and stories about the garden.
- 1.5 hour tours are offered Monday through Thursday at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
- Tour rate is $60 per person, $45 per person for garden members.
