Lauritzen
Gardens uses Altru as the system to manage online transactions for things like
admissions, special event ticket sales, class registrations, memberships, and
donations. While this has made internal operations run more smoothly, we
understand it can be unfamiliar and can present some challenges for users.
Below are answers to some frequently asked questions.
How
do I register for an online account?
As a
member, you will need to register and create an account with Lauritzen Gardens'
online system. You can register your account here. Your username needs to be the email
connected with your Lauritzen Gardens membership. If you do not know the email
that we have on file, please contact the membership department at (402)
346-4002, ext. 214 or membership@omahabotanicalgardens.org.
If you
are not yet a garden member, use the email to which you will want to receive
your enrollment confirmations and email communications. Next, select a secure
and unique password and be sure not to share it with others.
How
do I apply my membership discount?
As a member, you will need to sign in to your account to
be able to apply your membership discount. Once you are on the program registration
or ticket purchase page, click on "Sign In" in the upper right-hand corner to
enter your email and self-selected password. If you have not already registered
with Lauritzen Gardens online system, you will need to click "Create an Account"
and do that first (see above). You only need to register one time and can then
"Sign In" on all subsequent transactions.
When properly signed in, your email will appear in the
upper right-hand corner.
When
do I get my membership discount?
After you have signed in to your account (see above), our
system will recognize you as a Lauritzen Gardens member (assuming your membership
is current). Prices shown for tickets and classes are all at the base price. Member
discounts will be calculated and applied at the end of the transaction when you
are ready to checkout. Please DO NOT checkout if your discounts are not
calculating.
How
do I know if I successfully signed up for a program?
You will receive an email confirmation shortly after
completing the checkout process. If the confirmation does not arrive within a
few minutes after signing up for the program, we ask that you please check your
spam/junk folder.
