American Horticulture Society Reciprocal Membership Program
We welcome members of other public gardens that participate in the American Horticultural Society's Reciprocal Membership Program. The physical or digital membership card of their member garden and a photo ID are required for entry. Gardens all vary in their membership benefits and admission structure. If you have questions about how your membership reciprocates with Lauritzen Gardens, please call us at (402) 346-4002, ext. 201 or 214. Please note: Lauritzen Gardens enforces the 90-mile exclusion policy. Nebraska Statewide Arboretum members are not eligible for reciprocal admission. Reciprocal admission discounts are not valid for Bright Nights events.

Lauritzen Gardens and the Blue Star Museums network have partnered to offer free admission to the nation’s active duty military personnel—including National Guard and Reserve—and their families each summer. Starting on Armed Forces Day (Saturday, May 17, 2025) through Labor Day (Monday, September 1, 2025), current military families must show a Geneva Conventions common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card to guest experience staff for complimentary garden admission for the military ID holder and up to five family members. The military ID holder can be either a servicemember or other dependent family member with the appropriate ID card. The servicemember does not have to be present for family members to use the program. The free admission program is available for active-duty members of the US Armed Forces—Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Space Force—as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, and NOAA Commissioned Corps. While this program does not extend to military retirees or veterans, Lauritzen Gardens is proud to offer a discounted admission rate as a gesture of gratitude for their service. Through the Museums for All program, guests who present a valid SNAP EBT card at our front desk, along with their photo ID, receive free admission for two adults (from the same household) and their dependent children.
Please note that this program only covers general garden admission and does include programs that require a separate registration fee or ticket, including classes, camps, workshops, and special events like Bright Nights.
