Valentine's Day Dinner

Reservations available from 6 to 9 p.m.

Experience one of the most beautiful, exquisite Valentine’s Day dinners in Omaha at Lauritzen Gardens, in the intimate surroundings of the visitor and education center. All guests receive the first course, their choice of one main course, the dessert course and one glass of wine (Chardonnay or Merlot). Cost is $55 per person.  

2016 menu options:

First Course
Bibb lettuce and baby kale with avocado, sliced radish, grape tomatoes and deviled egg. Finished with a champagne vinaigrette.

Main Course #1
Chateaubriand with a pinot noir reduction and shiitake mushrooms
Fresh mashed potatoes with oregano, lemon, scallions and fresh mint        
Roasted bouquetiere of vegetables | Brussels sprouts, asparagus, red and yellow peppers, carrots, beets and red cabbage
Hard rolls with butter

Main Course #2
Roast tenderloin of beef with a pinot noir reduction and shiitake mushrooms
Breast of chicken piccata
Fresh mashed potatoes with oregano, lemon, scallions and fresh mint
Roasted bouquetiere of vegetables | Brussels sprouts, asparagus, red and yellow peppers, carrots, beets and red cabbage
Hard rolls with butter

Main Course #3
Grilled fresh salmon filet with dill lemon cream and strawberry cracked peppercorn relish         
Fresh mashed potatoes with oregano, lemon, scallions and fresh mint
Roasted bouquetiere of vegetables | Brussels sprouts, asparagus, red and yellow peppers, carrots, beets and red cabbage
Hard rolls with butter

Main Course #4 
Stuffed cornish game hen with dried fruit stuffing and wild cherry demi glaze 
Fresh mashed potatoes with oregano, lemon, scallions and fresh mint
Roasted bouquetiere of vegetables | Brussels sprouts, asparagus, red and yellow peppers, carrots, beets and red cabbage

Main Course #5
Large stuffed portobello mushroom with vegetable ragout stuffing
Fresh mashed potatoes with oregano, lemon, scallions and fresh mint
Roasted bouquetiere of vegetables | Brussels sprouts, asparagus, red and yellow peppers, carrots, beets and red cabbage
